Bill Fromberg (Managing Director)

Bill has been involved in the Electrical Industry since 1969, in January 1999 Bill and Trish Fromberg (Co Secretary – Director) purchased Contact Electrical P/L, based only in Launceston, at that time with 11 employees. Since then the company has add 2 extra branches, 1 in Hobart and 1 in Burnie with 73 full time employees, 16 of whom are apprentices.

Bill’s philosophy has always been to stay ahead in technology by keeping up with the latest products and knowledge covering the domestic, commercial and industrial arenas and he credits the company’s success to having excellent employees who care about customer’s needs and the welfare of the company.

Bill is currently the Vice President of NECA Tasmania (National Electrical Contractors Association), sits on the Aurora Liaison Committee for NECA, and is a Life Member of the Leven Yacht Club – Ulverstone.

Dion Frame (General Manager : Launceston)

General Manager 4 years - key role as General Manager of Contact Electrical Pty Ltd is to oversee all operations within the company. As well as this role Dion’s vast experience in maintenance services, fire detection system, design, installation & repairs ensures that he is involved heavily with this part of Contact’s business.

Chubb Fire Safety 1987 – 2004 - Worked for Chubb Fire Safety for 17 ½ years & approximately the last 6 years of that service as the Northern Area Manager. Through this role Dion was required to have working knowledge of Australian Standards & the BCA & be able to interoperate them into practical applications.
